The National Rental Home Council (NRHC) Board has appointed the Honorable Adrianne Todman as the next Chief Executive Officer, succeeding David Howard, and has added the position of Chief Operating Officer, appointing Terrie Suit in that role.
Adrianne is a nationally recognized leader in housing and community development, bringing decades of experience advancing housing solutions across the country. She most recently served as Deputy Secretary and Acting Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and previously led the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials. Her distinguished career also includes service on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity International and advisory roles with the Terwilliger Center for Housing Policy at the Bipartisan Policy Center. Throughout her work, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to strengthening communities and expanding housing opportunities for families.
Terrie is an experienced leader in both the government and private sector, with deep real estate and housing experience. She most recently served as the CEO of the Virginia Association of Realtors and previously was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, where she chaired the Virginia Housing Commission and the General Laws Committee, which oversaw real estate and housing policy.
Adrianne and Terrie will lead the NRHC into its next chapter and continue to advocate for the industry’s vital role in providing high-quality rental homes to families and individuals nationwide.
David Howard will remain with NRHC in the role of senior advisor through the end of the year. His subject-matter expertise and strong relationships will be incredibly helpful to Adrianne and Terrie as they settle into their new roles.
