Mark Cassidy is the Chief Valuations Officer at Service 1ST, a national appraisal management company (AMC), specializing in quality-control appraisal reviews. In this role, he is responsible for regulatory compliance, valuation policies and procedures, valuation product development and business development. A certified general appraiser in eight states, Mr. Cassidy has more than 35 years of experience in valuing residential and commercial properties. Over the course of his career, he has held a series of senior positions, including President of the Marin Group; Vice President of Valuation at Solidifi; and Chief Appraiser at First American Appraisal (eAppraiseIt) He has also founded and headed his own appraisal firm and developed an automated valuation model for First American.
