Eli Novey is the chief financial officer of Toorak Capital Partners and has been spearheading the company’s efforts since inception in August 2016, alongside the CEO. Prior to Toorak, Novey served as B2R’s Treasurer and managed the company’s liquidity and funding activities covering loan origination, securitization, and business operations. Over his career, Novey has structured, closed, and managed the company’s multiple warehouse and mezzanine financing vehicles. Prior to B2R, Novey served as the corporate controller of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp, a diversified commercial REIT. Novey started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Banking & Capital Markets Assurance practice, where he held the position of senior manager.
